my art and suchhi i’m serena, i’m a queer+chinese artist working
in textiles, drawing/painting, and digital
extended-reality. my work explores themes of
identity, inter-generational cultural preservation,
and asian futurisms. i examine the ways colonialism
and orientalism have shaped many experiences
within the asian diaspora.
currently, i’m preparing for a couple shows, working
on a residency, and curating some group shows.
